Whistleblowing Policy
How to raise concerns about wrongdoing safely and in confidence, with protection from detrimental treatment.

Our commitment
Axia Computer Systems Ltd is committed to conducting business with honesty and integrity, and we expect all staff to maintain high standards. This policy encourages anyone who has serious concerns about wrongdoing to come forward and raise them, and sets out how they can do so safely and in confidence.
What to report
This policy covers genuine concerns about wrongdoing, including but not limited to:
- Criminal activity, fraud or financial malpractice.
- Bribery or corruption.
- Breaches of legal or regulatory obligations.
- Danger to health and safety or the environment.
- Modern slavery or breaches of human rights.
- Deliberate concealment of any of the above.
How to raise a concern
Concerns should normally be raised with a member of management. If that is not appropriate, or you do not feel comfortable doing so, you can raise the matter confidentially through the contact details on our website. Please give as much detail as you can so the matter can be properly investigated.
Protection and confidentiality
We will treat all disclosures seriously, fairly and in confidence so far as possible. No one who raises a genuine concern in good faith will suffer dismissal, disciplinary action or any other detrimental treatment as a result — even if the concern turns out to be mistaken. Workers who blow the whistle are also protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
Investigation
Concerns will be investigated appropriately and proportionately, and we will provide feedback where we can. Knowingly making false or malicious allegations, however, may be treated as a disciplinary matter.
Review
This policy is reviewed regularly and updated as needed. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
